Straight from the earth

Today is the day to go to the allotment and see what is growing. The sprouts and cabbage are being devoured by caterpillars, but the potatoes are doing well. It felt a bit early to dig them yet but the heat had scorched the leaves on this plant so I dug these up and found they looked OK. Yummy........
