Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014

What an 11 days and what a show put on by Glasgow and Scotland.

The Commonwealth Games 2014 hosted by Glasgow was a resounding success both in the sporting arenas and on the streets and parks of Glasgow - the 'Friendly Games' this certainly was.

Plus Scotland won their record medal haul with 53 in total and an amazing 19 gold medals beating the previous records of 33 medals and 11 gold.

Today I was at the Badminton Finals at the Emirates Arena and then in the evening at the Closing Ceremony at Hampden Park and in keeping with the whole games the final curtain call at the national stadium was another spectacular and well organised event.

Well Done Scotland and Well Done Glasgow.
