Super Sunflowers

I slept late this morning and when I did surface it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale. I had to do supermarket shopping and these little beauties seemed to find themselves in my trolley, they are just so cheerful and pretty. I got drenched going back to the car, unpacking and then depositing the trolley back in the trolley park.
It's been a mixed bag weather wise, we've had gale force winds, torrential rain, sunshine and thunder. It's now 6pm the sun is shining and it's still blowing a gale, very few Bramley apples are left on the tree. Good thing my neighbour likes making chutney and pickles!
