Rhubarb Forest

I actually took this picture this morning as an experiment prior to tomorrow's Mono-Monday, as I believe the subject this week is "food". However when I tried experimentally rendering it in B&W, my resident photo critics (otherwise known as wife & son) told me in no uncertain terms that it looks better in colour.

So it has become today's blip, in colour; I'll either do a similar monochrome tomorrow, or think of something completely different - we'll see!

Our rhubarb grows phenomenally thick and fast - it's more like a triffid than rhubarb. One day I fear it may take over the whole vegetable plot - or even the whole earth...!
