Small Boy's Hero

Part of the reason for choosing where we went on holiday was that it made getting across the country to Carlisle to take Oliver to the Stobart Fest (yes, you read that right). As you may know, Eddie Stobart have a spotters club, and also a junior spotters club. They also have had a series about them on Channel 5 (that bastion of documentary journalism).

Some 20,000+ people head to Carlisle Airport (also owned by Stobart Group) to see the trucks from the various divisions, and most importantly meet the drivers. Mark Dixon and his truck Phoebe Grace has become very well known as a result of the TV series. The queues for the drivers to sign autographs was quite amazing, and we stood for quite a while in a number of queues, but there was only going to be one picture today, and that had to be Oliver with Mark Dixon.
