Loch Melfort

So this has been our home for the past 7 days. None of us wanted to leave today - especially as it was such a glorious day after yesterday's rain.

We had a wee competition in the car to estimate the mileage door to door - the winner was No 3 with 128 miles. Seems a lot more when you are driving it - but that's just because you get caught behind campers, caravans and Morrison's lorries !

It's a beautiful drive back, but we were glad to be home.

By the time we had unloaded the car, unpacked, loaded washing machine, cut the grass, cut the hedge, food shopping and hoovered the sand out of the car - we needed another holiday to recover !
