Peach frangipane tart

I treated myself to a rectangular tart tin from Lakeland yesterday, so today I looked through my recipe books to find a suitable tart. I ended up making a peach frangipane tart from my GBBO showstoppers book - except I cheated and used tinned peaches instead of faffing about poaching fresh ones. Turned out fine I think. I thought I heard Katie describing it as 'ugly' but I had misheard, as she had said it tasted 'lovely'. :)
I also attempted a swiss roll after watching the Bake Off contestants this week. Turned out OK, but it really needed more filling. I shall remember that for next time.
