Illumine...

...an installation in the LUX exhibition at Cragside, which we visited today. The threatened rain stayed away, and we had a walk round the lovely gardens - a combination of natural and engineering works, including an Archimedes screw.
This "light" piece greeted us as we entered the house - Armstrong was an engineer who developed hydraulic power and electric lighting in his house, and the artist based her contribution on his interests.
