Teeth Painlessly Extracted and Inserted

I thought I'd found all of Perth's ghost signs, and I must have walked past this building a hundred times before I noticed this one.

It reads: "J. ?. MacGregor's Consulting Rooms / Teeth Painlessly Extracted and Inserted". Painless extraction I can just about believe, but putting replacements back must have hurt, surely?

The name is hard to read because it has been pained over an earlier name, one letter shorter. Google reveals that J. C. MacGregor, Dentist was here in 1905, and J. D. Cameron in 1899 (both from Leslie's Directory).
