The Golden Cow

Inspired no doubt by the Olympic Gold Post Boxes a couple of years ago, Mitchell's Dairies have painted their iconic cow a beautiful gold colour as a tribute to Hannah Miley and her Swimming Gold Medal in the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The cow apparently played a part in Saturday's Civic Celebration, but was so hidden by the crowds that I never even glimpsed it on its 'big day'.
