Probably a Parasol

I found this large mushroom on an evening walk. It is white with brown markings on the cap, whitish gills and has a pleasant mild mushroomy smell. It was growing on its own near the field edge in long grass. I think it is probably a Parasol Mushroom. But I am not entirely confident. Although it would very likely be delicious, I can't help thinking about the original Alexander Supertramp in the film Into the Wild. He sadly poisoned himself in the Alaska wilderness by eating plants of the nightshade family. So the
mushroom is still sitting on the kitchen worktop...
