I woke early to have breakfast out with M today. We went to C1 which I like as the toilets are accessed by a hidden automatic sliding door in a bookcase and it's fun to watch the puzzled newbies :)

Luckily for me the walk home from the city center is mostly though Hagley Park - which I will miss immensely. Whilst walking through I noticed that the new cricket oval is finally starting to take real shape.

The Oval is being built in preparation of New Zealand and Australia hosting the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Although it's a little sad we won't get to see a match there we're moving to near Eden Park in Auckland so all is not at all lost :)
