We said goodbye to our visitors this morning and then walked round to the post box. Bailey continues to need more encouragement on the way there than on the way back. He did manage to introduce himself to two little boys and another dog (and tonight to an older lad he was walking along playing a harmonica...) He was then tired enough for me to get some extreme lopping of laurels done, successfully filling the green bin. The tail end of Bertha dried the washing in extra quick time and Bailey decided to 'help' with the ironing by curling up on the warm bit. He was eventually encouraged to shift into his own bed.
