TRAIL

Being so close to the mountains here in Albuquerque, there are lots of trails to explore and shoot. Unfortunately, my lunch break is not that long, and I needed something VERY close, yet still rugged, rustic, and challenging. When that combination isn't readily available, choosing a low angle, and a proper vantage point behind some wild-looking vegetation can sometimes give the illusion of wilderness. This shot was taken about 2 feet to the right of the sidewalk, less than 100 yards from my office. Cheating? No, I don't think so. If you can't tell the difference, then the shot was successful.
