Shield bug

This is in our lemon tree, complete with larvae.

Do I destroy or continue to blip?

The latter I think.

I have tried hard to identify it and have come up with Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale or hawthorn shield bug. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The tip of the abdomen was red...appropriately.
