That's right - Lowest Astronomical Tide today - also known as chart datum, as youse know. The water can't get any lower unless something very strange happens, y'see. So, quite a bit of the harbour which never usually uncovers was, well, uncovered! This called for a man with a camera to document it for the greater good of the mariners of Granton. Step forward, pensioner! Now I have loads of photos of mud. Perhaps I should make a photo book.
Later, the first trip to the new dentist, now that Mikey has legged it westwards. Followed by a call in at the bike shop for tubes and then down to see the old girl. All accompanied by rain. And wind.
But now, an evening of very boring political TV which I'm quite looking forward to. While I continue to tune the website of course...
