Sad...

Plenty dead carp in the pond at the parc next to our house....
Big ones!
How this is possible?
I read an article in the newspaper that says fishes can survive very well in frozen water.
Their hearts beat very slow (about four times a minute).
But when mostly children try the strength of the ice they break it and that causes schockwaves.
So the fishes wake up and die because of stress...
Another story says they die because of lack of oxygen and that's also a possibility because the ponds in the parc are full of organic material in a rotting process which uses a lot of oxygen.
Who knows?
But is sad to see.
