Carnage

on the roads . . .. Took this when I was feeling a little dis-spirited . . .

Oh dear, worry-wort level decreased by talking and watering the veggie patches. The sweet corn has flowered and I am waiting for the tassels to appear; beans have flowered and tomatoes are set; a few peas too. We'll be eating a lot of salads as the lettuces are ready to harvest. Zucchini/cougettes and squash growing well; picked the first ones this morning. Carrots take for ever . . . dull day thunder storms and rain about . . .
