This the street from outside The Lyric theatre, while on the way home early Saturday morning. It would have probably been more sensible to end the night earlier and head for home - but the 4 of us weren't really interested in sensible.
The morning ran late leading to a late start at the beer festival. Unfortunately the rain was so heavy that the whole festival was transplanted into local multi storey car park. It was odd but worked okay. The beers were good and my fave was a Ruby Redbird from Shiner with grapefruit and ginger flavours (clean, light and delicious!). H and I made many circuits and I caught up with some rugby chums from Roanoke and Blacksburg clubs. As a bit of a tradition we went for dinner at a local Italian place then home. M & J both went directly to bed so H and I walked around the corner for some food shopping then watched a film.
