Coffee and cake.

So after the torrential downpour last night - cooking a BBQ in the rain under a brolly whilst wearing flip flops because you didn't bring any wellies and finally getting to eat dinner at 10:30 - we woke up to a beautiful sunny morning in the New Forest.
There were a few drowned looking tents floating in puddles and some completely surrounded like they'd cast off at sea. But I think most survived the night.

Took the camera out for a stroll early to catch some of the beautiful sunshine and dappled shade. Saw a few ponies arsing around and one have an explore of the campsite looking for food to snaffle.

Tried to catch a bus to Lyndhurst but of course it didn't show up until after we'd waited half an hour and given up. So took a stroll in Brockenhurst and found somewhere to have coffee and share a bit of cake.

The weather stayed fine until the evening when it was another night of torrential rain, thunder and lightning...
