Walking & talking

Went out walking with them thro' the greens outside Delft and we enjoyed the sun and each other's company.
We met a man with his amazon parrot and he told us he's enjoying her company for more than 20 years now ~ I took pictures of him and his lovely pet, but he didn't want me to publish them on the internet, so I go for our teatime break on the route.

The parrot, he said, is quite a shy annimal and by character most faithful to the inital caretaker(s) No cuddles from strangers and no lodging outdoors while the caretaker goes on holidays! So the bird goes where ever the owner goes:)
