It rains...

... even on the Riviera. When you are not prepared for the weather - you can always put a bag on your head.

As we left our hotel for the journey back to the UK, there was deluge on the streets of Nice, the sky as dark as late evening.

I must apologise for my lack of commenting over the past fortnight - a pretty poor wifi in our hotel, combined with a serious increase in the number of Oops messages from blip central, made it a ridiculously tedious exercise just to add a daily entry. I will endeavour to catch up soon. Many thanks to everyone for their many comments, stars and hearts.
