Brighton Pavilion tea light

We bought this delightful tea light at the Brighton Pavilion shop. During the day it looks like white ceramic with the faint image of the Pavilion carved into it. When illuminated with a tea light however the amazing detail of the Pavilion image (carved? embossed? cast?) in the ceramic comes to life. It is an exquisite souvenir of a lovely visit.
