Pelicans in Cairns

Flew up to Cairns from Sydney today. Our flight was delayed for over 3 hours so spent quite a while in Sydney airport ... then quite a while outside Cairns airport waiting for our transfer shuttle to the backpackers ... oh well, was nice and warm in Cairns anyway :-)

Checked into a nice backpackers then went for a wander down to the waterfront and were rewarded by some lovely views and these cheeky pelicans!
