Beach Blowing

A friend had invited us to attend a play on Saturday. We were all set to do so, until we heard that the play really wasn't all that fantastic, so we re-evaluated and decided to meet in a nearby coastal town, and take the kids to the beach instead. It was the best idea EVER! The weather was so great. It was windy...but it is always windy at the beach here, so that wasn't much of a thing. The girls had so much fun playing together. They did not want to stop for a single moment.....until they got hungry....and we had to go find lunch. They were sad to leave the beach, but enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Afterwards we headed to an exhibit that uses garbage that washes up on the beach to create art. We have all been there together before, but it is always a good time. There was new things to see, and as always.....art to create. Everyone had a great time.

When we tired of creating art, we walked around the boardwalk for awhile, and then headed on home. It was a great day.
