Robes of the brotherhood

The Santa Maria dei Bianchi Confraternita in Cittá della Pieve to be precise.
The brotherhood who asked Perugino to make a beautiful fresco in their chapel. The fresco (Magi Adoration) was painted in 1504 and can still be seen in their chapel. The brotherhood ran a hospice for pilgrims on their way to Rome. Over 500 years later the brotherhood still remains. These robes are used in processions when selected members of the brotherhood carry huge crosses from their chapel to the cathedral (if we have understood it correctly from the member of the brotherhood who let us in to admire to fresco).
