A day of two halves

This morning: tree climbing, squirrel baiting, river jumping, picnicing.

This afternoon: raining, hailing, thunder and lightning, flooding.

Drowned roofers dripped in my kitchen. Car alarms, set off by the hail, rang out through the streets of South London. We hunkered down and watched Captain Phillips. An ideal film for a wet, wet day.
