The gathering storm.

Urghh. More down pours on the way. Last night we had a HUGE rainstorm at about 2:30 am. How do I know this? Well apart from the noise of the thunder the damn dog had me up twice so I was wide awake! This morning we discovered that we had water in though a side door which had travelled through our back storage area and into the back kitchen. Nothing ruined so just a mop up operation. Very occasionally when we have severe rain storms this happens, well three times in 26 years!

Farming- two on compost hauling. Rusty, or main man, also had some tanking to do. However he returned back here a tad wet having fallen into a collection pit! No danger to him as too shallow but it was enough to flow over his wellies He did look a sight! Mr Tbay and Mr Tbay jnr with the help of Ray, our forage driver , finished another section of fencing. Rain almost stopped play be they did get it finished in the end.
