Albatross sculpture detail

Another beautiful day in Wellington today. The city crowd was even more surreal than usual with lots of people in fancy dress for the Rugby Sevens. However, tempting though it was to snap a shot of people dressed as the seven samurai, a crowd of Homer Simpsons, or a small group of phantoms of the opera...I decided to blip a detail from an abstract sculpture by Tanya Ashken called the Albatross: the first public sculpture commissioned by Wellington's Sculpture Trust. Not sure which part of the Albatross this is supposed to be but I liked it!
