What a wet day!

Leo had requested a bus ride but after a load of early downpours we postponed that plan and headed out in the car instead - good move! There were some real cloudbursts today that we would not have enjoyed from a bus stop!

We stopped off at the canal and were entertained by the swans, ducks and moorhens, which Leo keeps calling warhens! That amuses me as they are such gentle looking birds.

The swans treated us to their cleaning routine - they were at it for ages and it involved all sorts of contortions - they even Eskimo rolled at a few points :)
