Rod and Reel Pier on Anna Maria

Well I finally made it to the Rod and Reel Pier for lunch. The old fish house type building is on the end of a long pier. It is pretty typical box building with a bar below and small restaurant above. They had a fire last year and re-modeled- mostly rebuilt, the area. The pier is very cool as all of the planks have names carved into them; that was very cool. It started raining and so did not get a good shot with the sign and the building. The Sign is probably the best part.
It is an institution in AMI. So we had fun and enjoyed the food and the day! Thanks Carol, always for great company!
