'You say Tomaytoes I say Tomahtoes'

A great song from one of my favourite Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film made in 1937 'Shall We Dance'. The scene in the film is the two of them roller skating in the park....something I did during my childhood until I was 18.......the song is actually called 'Let's Call the Whole Thing Off'

Well my Tomato plants that my friend gave me as babies ten weeks ago, have grown and started to ripen...I tasted my first one today....the best! They have done so well outside during the winds and rain over the past week.....the lovely long spell of hot weather definately gave them the boost they needed!
