Grand Col Ferret

The final day of our expedition. When we set off the clouds were low and it looked like another day of bad weather ahead, but as started our 1000m ascent the clouds cleared to reveal stunning views below and we were able to walk along enjoying the sunshine. The highlight of our day was crossing the border between Switzerland and Italy and looking down at the valley where we were to finish.

This expedition has definitely been the biggest challenge I have ever set myself, but every minute has been worth it and I am so grateful for the amazing opportunity :)
