Fee Fie Foe Fum....

It's time for Flamstead Scarecrow fun.

I drove through the village of Flamstead this morning where there was a lot of hustle and bustle and rustle of straw. This weekend is the annual Scarecrow Festival - a tradition of some 12 years or so.

I didn't have time to stop and walk the whole scarecrow route, but managed to capture this Giant at the top of his beanstalk. I love the detail with the runner beans on the wysteria!!

If your anywhere near J9 of the M1 (Hertfordshire) the festival is well worth a detour.

I, however, am heading to the other end of the UK to visit friends in Scotland.
Blipping may be on hold until my return.
