We combined an optician's appointment with a visit to the Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Chilean Architect Smiljan Radic. It is a "semi-translucent, cylindrical structure that resembles a shell and rests on large quarry stones."


....we used the bar and enjoyed a cup of coffee until a very heavy shower passed.
