Fireworks!!!

We were meant to have fireworks tonight in the bay to celebrate the liberation of the South of France, the first landing was on our beach. I went up to the place of yesterday's blip, waited an hour only to find out they were cancelled due to high winds!!

I returned home, and although it is very bright, as the camera gear was out, I had a go at my first ever Milky Way shot.

I'm sure I wil get better with practice and will find a better spot than our verandah!!
