For Gathering Winter Fuel

We like to take the opportunity in summer whilst the timber is dry to get it stacked under cover ready for use.

We have been lucky this year because I have done a bit of bartering and acquired a great load of well seasoned logs. They were put through the log splitter the other day and are instantly ready for use.

If the winter is mild we can sometimes get away without using the central heating at all.
