Emerging from the Shadows

I went to the lake today to have the opportunity to try a variety of different shots. I took a fair number of the water, boats, etc as I walked out to the boat house, and on the way back, I put my macro lens on, and went looking for insects and flowers.

The macro lens takes some getting used to, but I was pleased to find that it creates some wonderful effects. I thought that this shot of the insect on the flower would work for today’s challenge of Shapes and Shadows.
