Cornwall Day 2: TIntagel Castle and Merlin's Cave

Beautiful sunshine all day - we've both ended up with sunburnt shoulders - we've been so lucky with the weather! Today took us to Tintagel to explore the Castle. So many steps! But it was great, we both loved it. We had lunch (yesterday's leftover BBQ!) on a cliff and then walked down to Merlin's cave as by this point the tide had gone out o the cave was accessible. The 'cave' (pictured) has entrances on both sides of the cliff (the cave is in a bit of land where the land points out to sea), so if my Geographical knowledge serves me rightly, it looks like it may be the very beginnings of an arch. In any case, it gave the backdrop for some cool photos!

We drove to Bude and found a Sainsburys, so we picked up the bits to have another BBQ this evening and enjoy another beautiful sunset - with a cyder in hand - together.
