Our friends Ross and Trix invited us over this afternoon to meet the puppy they bought for their kids. So the puppy was the onlynthing different from our normal Saturday afternoons: beer, darts, music...

Sam is a Welsh Cardigan Corgi. Very cute. He will have a big job keeping up with the kids. Especially on those short legs.

I stained the wood around a doorfram when we got home from Ross and Trix's. It is only about 2 years overdue. The thing is I can't remember how I got the frams in the kitchen to match in with the existing wood. I found some stain which matched but is defititely not what I used last time. Go figure...

I will varnish tomorrow morning. Meantime the house stinks!
