Pollen overload!

Today I took a walk around Connaught Water with my good friend Zeus09sMum - and of course Zeus! It was a warm but rather dull, cloudy day, not ideal for blips but we did spot rather a lot of insects very much attracted to the common knapweed which is blooming abundantly just now. This very sleepy looking bee heavily coated with pollen, seemed to have had more than his fair share of nectar!
