Plughole experiment

We stand and watch in amazement (yet again) as we are shown how water goes down the plughole clockwise or anticlockwise depending on which side of the equator you are.
At this place, the actual equator line, it is clearly shown how a few feet on one side of "the line" it whizzes down one way, and then the experiment is repeated less than a stone's throw away and down it goes - the opposite way! Amazing and almost unbelievable, yet undeniable.
