Pentland Hills

Time to build up some hill walking experience before my Nepal trek!

With a pair of new hiking boots on, Ross dragged me for a walk over the peaks of the Pentland Hills. After a difficult start (I may have been slightly hungover...) I think I eventually found my grove. The peaks were insanely windy which added a humorous / treacherous element to proceedings. Came out the other end with a blister or two, a little more hill walking confidence, and a dozen or so photos I'm pleased with. A reasonable trade off, all told.

And the celebratory pints in Balerno didn't exactly hurt either.
