Family gatherings are a lot of fun, as the Mrs says. The day was spent getting ready for the party; setting tables, places, moving chairs, and preparing lots of delicious food. People arrived, pictures were taken, greetings were made, food was devoured, speeches were given, and a lot of laughter and joy was experienced. After most had left, and the sun went down, I wandered out to the peaceful lake to take pictures of the swans swimming nearby.
