One Small Year

By mahlerfan

Sunshine almost always makes me high

One of the (few) drawbacks to living in Western Oregon is the relatively small amount of sun we receive. The predominant weather we see from October - May/June is overcast, with a fair amount of rain in the winter months. However, every February around this time (I know how dependable it is because my son's birthday is on the 11th) we are treated to a glorious week or two of early Spring weather (sunny and fairly warm). I like to think of it as mother nature's way of giving us a break for putting up with months and months of almost ceaseless gloom.
