Happy Birthday Daddy!

The trio were thrilled to help bake their daddy's birthday cake. The helped to throw in the ingredients and all took turns at stirring (Maple seemed a little devious as she stirred....) Later I thought I'd give them all a plastic knife and leave them to it with the icing.... cue large chunks hacked out and more spoonfuls of icing eaten than on the cake.... a bit of fun though (Almost our very own cake smash in the name of daddy)

Poor daddy spent his day at work but came home in time for candle blowing and home made presents... Bailee and Oscar made him a delightful 'pen holder' out of a toilet roll and small box :-) Lucky man! We also got him a pampering spa session and he got himself a new speaker for the tv and some Lego.

It was so great to be back with them all today... Bailee had a very grizzly day, must have been the late night she had.
