Into town.....

I'd not particularly planned to go into town today but heck - had I not I'd have been annoyed that my first full day in Edinburgh didn't include a potter.

Consequently my walk took me from Morningside, down to the Harbour bit, then Princes Street Gardens, then up the Mound and a potter up the Royal Mile and back. Then I returned home across Bruntsfield Links and am now sitting here with a glass of red wine getting slowly pissed (to put it in a ladylike manner).

Oh plus a bit of shopping this morning where I managed to spend money - which is quite unusual for me....... (in a bog standard shop that is rather than a junk shop)
