One day at a time...

Had a nice breakfast on the sea front with Fran in the morning, followed by visiting Rachel's grave. Rachel was my sister in law who sadly passed away last year aged 28 in a car accident. She was the epitome of life itself and such a wonderful, happy person. We visit her grave on every visit, which is in a lovely setting.

After lunch, my brother in law and myself had the permission of our respective wives to go and have a photo afternoon. Tony (BennyIoW) who is local to the area and now also a fellow Blipfoto'er took me to Bembridge and found some fantastic photographic opportunities including this one. I will be back some time to pick up the other shots not chosen today!

After getting home, we then had the summons from the better halves, to come and meet them at the sea front in Shanklin for some dinner! Although after having an afternoon 'free' and then the promise of tea as well, the initial thought was a little hesitant; what will be the payment for such an agreeable day? However all was done in the most honourable intentions :) What a day!
