Sunny Sunday in the D

We were back downtown today. This time for some theater. Today we saw the play, "Ernie." The show is about the life of legendary Tiger's announcer, Ernie Harwell. The lead role belongs to a friend of ours and we were happy to get a chance to see the show on the final night of the short summer run. It was excellent!! We even ran into a few friends after the show.

This is St. John's Episcopal Church of Detroit. It stands across the street from the theater and right next to Comerica Park. It looked great lit by the evening sun, so I snapped a quick pic from the car before we headed home for the night.
