Wattle Bird

Another day filled with writing and odd jobs. An enjoyable enough day, not an overly interesting one to write about so I'll just say it was a good one.

This character is a wattle bird who, with a friend, was doing what wattle birds do, drinking nectar from the wattle in my front yard. I chased the two of the around the yard trying to get a shot of them doing exactly that but as they move so quickly, and darted away as soon as I took a single step towards them, I was unable to get that shot. Crazy evolved dinosaurs.

If and when they return to my yard I will endeavour to get a photo of them in action. Hope you all had a good day.
